This is a sanctuary for sensitive hearts. A place for you to rest, be seen, and bloom.
Do you feel things deeply? Have you often been told you are too much? Do you frequently experience overwhelm?
If yes, you have landed in the right place. I understand, because I have lived these same struggles, and I have created soft landings and practices just for you.
Here, you will not be pushed to work harder or do more. You will find a warm, welcoming space to show up exactly as you are.
I built this space as a soft nest where you can encounter gentle practices rooted in both ancient wisdom and modern neuroscience, practices designed to guide you from overwhelm into micro moments of peace.
And I have a message for you: you are not too much. You are multidimensional. You deserve to be met with practices that honor all of you.
This is what you will find here. Join one of my offerings to begin the unfolding of the beautiful flower you already are.
You belong here. You are welcome. You are a gift to this world.
Ciao, I am Federica Torri founder of Tender Flower Yoga, a soft nest for sensitive hearts: a place to rest, be seen, and gently find your inner bloom.
I am a trauma informed yoga teacher, a rest whisperer, a nature imagery alchemist and at heart, someone who has learned to use guided imagery, somatic ritual, and the natural world as medicine for my deeply attuned and overstimulated nervous system. But my path to this work began somewhere very different.
I hold a PhD in Medical Biotechnology and Neurosciences and spent over a decade working in biotech software, helping researchers bring their work to life. For years I kept delivering at work while living with the painful symptoms of endometriosis and a nervous system driven by burnout. Eventually my body demanded a stop. After a surgery and two deep burnouts, I had to learn how to put rest before production, and how my sensitive nervous system needed something more than just keeping it together.
It needed tenderness. But I didn't know that yet.
The turning point came when I met restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra. Those practices taught me tenderness for my body and a new way to orient my life. I trained as an RYT-200 trauma-informed teacher at Lotus Yoga Studio in Boston, completed advanced RYT-120 Mastery Yoga Nidra training with Jennifer Reis, and certified in restorative and yin practices. I am also a Board-Certified Integrative Health Coach (NBC-HWC), a Reiki practitioner, and a certified Forest Therapy guide. As a lot of sensitives and empaths, I am a lot of things, and even most importantly, I am a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP).
My scientific background guides me with a research-informed approach, while my lived experience of burnout, chronic pain, and recovery shapes my sensitivity-aware, heart-centered practice.
What I offer
I blend ancient wisdom with nervous system science to help sensitive hearts come home to themselves:
My classes are trauma-aware, low-stimulus, and paced for sensitive nervous systems. You'll find clear cues, practical tools, and space to choose what your body needs.
Whether you're navigating burnout, chronic pain, anxiety, or the fatigue of feeling deeply, these sessions are designed to help you come home to yourself.
If you're ready to rest more deeply and bloom with tenderness, I'd love to meet you in my sanctuary.
